On May 2, 2013, members of the Caroline County Sheriff's Office celebrated the 30 years of dedicated service of Sergeant Frank Meyers.
Family and friends were present to share this time with Sgt. Meyers. Pictured below is Sheriff Randy Bounds presenting Sgt. Meyers with his "shadow box" that contains his badge, and other elements of the uniform he proudly wore for 30 years. Congratulations on your retirement Sgt. Meyers!
On 4/17/13, the Caroline County Sheriff's Office welcomed anew member to the agency. Deputy First Class (DFC), Jeremy Gardner, was hired to replace Sgt. Frank Meyers who recently retired after 30 years of dedicated service with the Caroline County Sheriff's Office.
DFC Gardner comes to the Sheriff's Office from another law enforcement agency and with many years of dedicated service in the law enforcement profession. DFC Gardner possesses experience in Court Security,School Resource Officer, and a certified police instructor specializing in " Defensive Tactics". Dfc. Gardner was a Criminal Investigation Detective at his previous agency just prior to coming to the Sheriff's Office. In addition, Dfc.Gardner holds a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice along as many other specialized certifications.
Dfc. Gardner is a resident of Caroline County, and when not working at the Sheriff's Office he teaches Mixed Martial Arts.
