On 10-21-14, Sheriff Randy Bounds and the Caroline County Commissioners presented SGT Kenny Tull (15 year service award), SGT Philip Dixon (15 year service award), and CPL Bill Rude (25 year service award) with Caroline County Government Service Awards.

On 10/23/14, the Caroline County Sheriff's Office welcomed a new member to the agency. Deputy First Class (DFC), Vincent Allen, who was hired to fill a position at the Caroline County Circuit Court Security post.
DFC Allen possesses a high level of experience in Criminal Investigations and was a long time member with the Drug Task Force. Dfc. Allen comes to the Caroline County Sheriff's Office with experience in Court Security Operations from his previous agency.
