Caroline County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) Interns receive Certificates of Appreciation by Sheriff Bounds

CCSO Interns 2012Caroline County Sheriff's Office (CCSO) Interns Emily Rossbach and Amber Bickerton were awarded Certificates of Appreciation by Sheriff Randy Bounds at the Caroline County Commissioners meeting on December 11th. Rossback and Bickerton worked at the Sheriff's Office for a combined total of over 300 hours during the fall semester of Chesapeake College's Cooperative Work Education Program. Both are criminal justice majors at Chesapeake with goals of pursuing careers related to criminal justice.

Corporal Bryan Peris Receives MADD Award for recognition of DWI Arrests in Caroline County

peris madd award 300Police Officers from throughout Maryland's Eastern Shore assembled at the Wicomico County Youth and Civic Center last Friday (12/7) to be recognized by MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) Maryland for their efforts in removing drunk drivers from our highways.

Corporal Bryan G. Peris of the Caroline County Sheriff's Office was presented a Certificate of Appreciation by Lisa Spicknall, MADD Maryland's Lead Victim Services Specialist in honor of his dedication to DWI enforcement.

Sheriff Bounds commented "Caroline County roads are safer because of Corporal Peris' resolve to apprehend those drivers who choose to drink and drive. To be recognized by MADD Maryland speaks volumes of his commitment to that effort."
