Mid-Shore Pro Bono (MSPB) recently honored the volunteer attorneys who enable the organization to assist low-income residents of five Mid-Shore counties with civil legal matters. Its annual Pro Bono Awards Reception was held on October 27 at The Milestone in Easton, hosted together with Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence.
Executive Director Sandy Brown and Board President Jesse Hammock presented plaques to the Mid-Shore Pro Bono award recipients, along with citations from local legislators.
At the reception, Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence presented its own awards. One of the awards was presented to Caroline County Sheriff's Office's Administrative Aid to The Sheriff Dawn Cordrey. She played an intricate part in providing information to the Council so they could track and aid those in need of special needs regarding Domestic Violence incidents.
Mrs. Dawn Cordrey's dedication to her position in the Sheriff's Office is a very important one. She aids the Sheriff and Chief Deputy in preparing budgets, billing, and detailed reports in addition to her other duties in the Records Division.
Congratulations Mrs. Cordrey....job well done.
