On 10/23/14, the Caroline County Sheriff's Office welcomed a new member to the agency. Deputy First Class (DFC), Vincent Allen, who was hired to fill a position at the Caroline County Circuit Court Security post.
DFC Allen possesses a high level of experience in Criminal Investigations and was a long time member with the Drug Task Force. Dfc. Allen comes to the Caroline County Sheriff's Office with experience in Court Security Operations from his previous agency.

On Friday August 22nd, Delegate Addie Eckardt, family and friends rode the Caroline County leg of her annual four-day Mid-Shore cycle tour. For the second year in a row, Sheriff Randy Bounds was honored to assist with the early morning launch of the ride from TJ's Produce near Dover Bridge.
On August 24th, 2014, Brandon S. Engle of Boy Scout Troop 165 was recognized during an Eagle Court of Honor for achieving the Boy Scout's highest rank. In addition to receiving his Eagle rank, Brandon was commended by a number of presenters to include Sheriff Randy Bounds. Pictured are Sheriff Bounds and Eagle Scout Engle as he is presented with a Certificate of Recognition from the Caroline County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff Bounds congratulated Brandon for a job exceptionally well done and wished him continued success as he heads off to his freshman year of college.
